Resources

In this section, we've got links to other organisations and websites that may be helpful. It includes a list of helplines that are available out of hours.  If you're under 16, there's a page for you too.

On the downloads page, you can download publications produced by Depression Alliance Scotland about depression.

Then there's the events page, where you can find out about things that are that is going on all round Scotland about young adults and mental health. If you'd like to promote your event - just drop us a line.

We will soon be adding a recommendations page too so if you've read any good books, heard any good bands or seen any movies you'd like to recommend to other people, email us and we'll add them to the page. They don't have to be about depression or mental health, just anything that helps you feel better. Tell us why you like them and we'll include that.

man looking up“I have called a helpline about 3 times now over the past 9 months. I knew I was feeling very stressed and had a lot of anxiety about my future and feared that the only way out may be suicide. Within a minute or so of talking I was in floods of tears. I didn’t realise how upset I was until I started to cry. I have always felt really self conscious and I don’t know if I would have cried if I was getting help face-to-face. Crying really helps release some of the stress I was under.”
