Getting HelpCongratulations - you’ve already made a start. Just visiting this website is a step in the right direction. The one most important thing if you have depression is to talk to someone about it and to get help as soon as possible. This might be confiding in a friend, a relative, or someone you trust like your tutor or a colleague. It might be sending us an email at ask@lookokfeelcrap.org. Just sharing your feelings will hopefully make you feel less alone and it might make it easier to figure out what to do next. We also suggest you go and talk to your doctor, as they can tell you about the different options that are available to you. Take someone along with you if you need support. There is no one treatment that will work for everyone, so you’ll need to find the option that works best for you. This will depend on how long you’ve been feeling depressed, how much it is affecting your life and the type of support or treatment you are most comfortable with. We’ve listed the main types of support in the menu above. Click on one of the links to find out more information.
