Here's where you can get help if you're feeling really bad right now. If you’re feeling suicidal or have plans to take your own life, please speak to someone as soon as you can.
- Childline Free helpline for children and young people up to age 19. You can call to talk about any problem 0800 1111.
- HOPELineUK 08000 68 41 41 - Open every day. Practical advice and information by qualified professionals for anyone worried about a young person, or young people who feel suicidal.
- Get Connected 0800 808 4994 open 1pm – 11pm, email them via their website or get help via web chat every evening from 4.30pm – 10.30pm. For people under 25.
Many areas have a local mental health crisis team who can help when you feel really bad. Call your local hospital and ask.
If things are really bad you can always go to Accident and Emergency and ask to see a member of the psychiatric staff. If you are really ill and unable to go on your own, call 999 and get an ambulance.
If you have taken an overdose get help as soon as you can by calling 999 and asking for an ambulance.
If you're experiencing cyber bullying or are concerned about the behaviour of someone online, you can report it on the CEOP website or call 999 and speak to the police if you're really concerned.
